Pedro Martínez Maestre

Music Consultant

I have the enormous privilege of dedicating my life to music. My passion lies in true artistry, and I take pride in supporting organizations that uphold these values. Today, there’s a growing disconnect between genuine artists and what is often referred to as “the market.” While I don’t believe this endangers art itself— don’t worry, art is something far greater than any of us—it does risk diminishing the audience’s ability to lead a fulfilled life enriched by the arts.

For 15 incredible years, I’ve had the pleasure of being a professional jazz musician, performing in venues of all kinds—from intimate corner bars to renowned festivals like Montreux Jazz or Saalfelden. I’ve played alongside emerging artists and shared the stage with Warner Music and ECM stars. Throughout this journey, I’ve had the privilege of learning from the best musicians and professionals—the most dedicated community on earth.

Few years ago, I decided to bring this voice into the broader music industry. My impressions could fill a book, but the most significant lesson I’ve learned is that the music industry needs more musicians in its ranks. We need more people who not only grasp the values, ethics, and dedication that define the art world but also bring practical expertise in marketing and cultural management. The true value of art goes beyond mere entertainment—it’s about creating a deep connection with humanity and our inner selves
